Objectives:

• To present the highlights of the 52^nd UN Statistical Commission’s Side Event on Setting the Global Standard for Disaster-related Statistics held last 23 February 2021 for information;
• To present the draft 5-Year Strategic Plan for the TWG taking into account the TOR of the TWG and outcomes from the 1st to the 5th TWG meetings; and
• To share good country practices on the production of disaster-related statistics focusing on data collection/compilation, data utilization and sharing, and challenges faced.
