The UN-GGIM AP Working Group on Geospatial Information and Services for Disasters, in collaboration with the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan is hosting a virtual conference from 17 January to 20 January on geospatial capacity development in the areas of GNSS Cross-origin Resource Sharing (CORS) application and DRR.
This conference is for sharing key issues, challenges, best practices and expertise internationally, especially for the Asia-Pacific region among others.
The provisional programme includes the following:
- Keynote Speeches - Application of GNSS for real-time prediction of geohazards and its transformation to disaster information and The Utilization of GNSS for Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Indonesia: Status and Challenges
- Country perspectives on GNSS and its applications for disaster management and disaster risk reduction
