The Web Intelligence Network (WIN) project is building a platform to make non-traditional data sources accessible to members of the European Statistical System (ESS). The Web Intelligence Hub (WIH) is a key part of this project, offering a secure space for National Statistical Institutes (NSIs) to explore new data sets and work together on statistical production.
This webinar, designed for statisticians, data analysts, and researchers, will explore ways to enhance the quality and reliability of web-scraped data. It will cover methodological aspects, as well as quality assurance practices during data transformation and statistical output generation. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively use web-scraped data in official statistics.
