On April 23, 2020, over 70 participants virtually gathered to kick-off the Asia and the Pacific Data Integration Community of Practice.  In this meeting, Ms. Gemma Van Halderen, Director of UNESCAP Statistics Division, welcomed everyone and described how this community of practice can contribute to advancing towards the collective vision and framework for action by the Asia-Pacific statistical community. The Asia and the Pacific Data Integration Community of Practice offers a private space to member experts to share knowledge and experience around data integration, as well as contribute to developing regional guidelines on data integration based on those produced under auspices of the Conference of European Statisticians.  Ms. Afsaneh Yazdani and Ms. Jessica Gardner briefly introduced Asia and the Pacific Data Integration Community of Practice and demo’ed the platform.

Slides presented at the meeting, and instruction video are now available to the members, on Resources and How to use Confluence pages, respectively.
